What the conference covers, how the programme is assembled, and who ends up in the room.
The MHC 2026 runs on 20–21 November 2026 at the Hilton Garden Inn Boston Canton, Massachusetts, with every session streamed live for delegates who cannot travel. It is organised by PubScholars Group and accredited under CPD approved provider #785794.
This year’s theme is “Next-Generation Neuropsychiatry & Mental Health: Integrating AI, Genomics and Clinical Excellence”. Three things sit behind that phrasing: prediction tools are arriving in clinics faster than the evidence supporting them, genomic data is beginning to inform prescribing decisions, and both developments run into the ordinary constraints of a service with a waiting list. The programme addresses all three rather than only the first.

How the programme is assembled
The 25 scientific tracks are fixed first. Abstracts are then submitted against them, read by the scientific committee, and the running order is built from what is accepted. Nothing is commissioned to fill a gap and no slot is reserved for an invited name.
The practical effect is that the programme reflects what people are actually working on this year. It also means the speaker list looks thin until late, because most submissions arrive in the weeks before the deadline.

Who tends to attend
Delegates arrive from four directions, and the value of two days comes from them being in one place rather than in four separate specialist meetings.
● Clinicians — psychiatrists, clinical and counselling psychologists, therapists and mental health nurses, mostly interested in what changes a caseload.
● Researchers — neuroscientists, faculty, doctoral and postdoctoral researchers presenting work and looking for collaborators outside their own department.
● Services and policys — social workers, community teams, commissioners and public mental health professionals concerned with delivery at scale.
● Students and industry —early-career professionals building a publication record, and partners in digital health, diagnostics and pharmaceuticals..
What the two days are not
This is not a trade event with a scientific programme attached. Exhibitors are present and welcome, but the sessions are selected by the review panel and not by sponsorship. It is also not a single-specialty meeting: if you want two days exclusively on one narrow topic, a subspecialty congress will serve you better than this will.
