Dr Angelo Reynolds

Dr Angelo Reynolds works with people recovering from the setbacks that derail a life — trauma, addiction, bereavement and enforced transition — and with the organisations that support them. His practice combines speaking, transformational training, workshops and coaching around the mindset tools developed at the Transformers Academy, a framework built out of his own route from hardship to achievement.

His career spans more than thirty-five years across human services and education. He served five years as a Metropolitan DC police officer before moving into education in 1998. Since then he has worked as a peer mediation specialist with severely emotionally disturbed students, as a training facilitator for people leaving prison and re-entering the workforce, and as an adjunct professor teaching undergraduate psychology at Bowie State University. He has also taught educational leadership at the University of Maryland Graduate School.

He now works principally as a speaker and trainer, focused on people attempting to recover from trauma. The emphasis of his workshops is movement: from confusion and pain into deliberate action, with the tools to sustain it.
